Growing up in Indiana, I played a lot of sports, played/sang in a bunch of music groups (including, to the eternal mirth of my a cappella acquaintances, a show choir), went on a number of Boy Scout campouts, and occasionally shot at things.
I studied music composition and physics at Duke University. Singing with the Pitchforks, I began learning to arrange, direct, and produce.
I now sing with transit and with the Duke Vespers Ensemble, a small a cappella renaissance choir. I work part-time for Diovoce - arranging, recording, editing, and mixing - as well as for a-cappella.com and for Total Vocal, making learning CDs and arranging, respectively. As a producer for the AACI, I have helped organize Sing and SoJam for the past few years. During the day, I work at www.stemcells.com and will gladly educate anyone on the subject.
