I am the co-founder and past president of USC's Reverse Osmosis. Under the production of Gabriel Mann, Reverse Osmosis has completed four Asylum Studios albums. At USC, I also sang with the Concert Choir, and graduated with a Creative Writing degree and Performing Arts minor. I left L.A. for Portland, OR, where I sang with an Early Music Ensemble, puttered in the mountains, and happily rode the light rails.
I hold a Masters degree in Library and Information Studies from UW-Madison, with a specialization in youth services and children's literature. Currently, I'm a technical writer and editor for an IT consulting corporation. My husband is software developer. Somehow, our geek/dork love overcomes our close quarters. I also own Sailor Editing & Copywriting, and Yuppie Manor.
Libraries are my playground and I'll read any author recommended to me (but will regularly reach for E.B. White). Stephen Colbert is my nightcap and Mexican food is my weakness. I'm a blogger and a bloggee, a Ben Folds follower, a microbrew drinker, a feline advocate, an occasional gambler, an improving bowler, a collegiate football fan, a news watcher, a walking trail walker, and a short story writer. And yeah, I dig the a cappella scene, too.
My last name changed from Raschka to Sailor on 08/25/07. I respond to either name, because I'm flexible like that.
