Seth built and manages RARB's technical infrastructure, which is very much like an iceberg in that what's visible is just a tiny portion of the whole, but unlike an iceberg in that it poses no threat to seagoing vessels and is not very pretty.
Once upon a time, Seth edited and formatted all the reviews
himself, but he eventually built enough automation and clunky web
interfaces that other people are now able to do the actual work.
Seth still sets editorial policy and helps
Chris
Ben
make general policy decisions, which are collectively numerous but
mercifully infrequent.
As for actual music, Seth sang with the WashU Pikers (and
a couple short lived groups before and after college), ran an
a cappella radio show with Chris Tess, wrote for The CAN, judged an
NCCAICCA semi-final, and judged for CARA nominations.
But that was all a long time ago. Now he just enjoys some of the albums
RARB reviews and sings when he thinks no one is listening.
