Andrew started his contemporary a cappella career in high school, where he he joined the newly formed all-male group VoiceMale his sophomore year (which then turned into a co-ed group called SoundFX when the choral program was lacking male voices), and he was instantly hooked. He continued to sing upon arriving at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he earned a degree in Sports Management in 2013. He was a bass (and occasionally the vocal percussionist) with the Troubadours, the university's oldest co-ed group, for four years and was co-Business Manager his senior year. Andrew was also a member of GW's University Singers, under the direction of Gisele Becker, and had the opportunity to tour with the group to South Africa in 2013.
In addition to his tenure with the Troubadours, Andrew joined Keyvibe during his senior year, which was a new semi-pro group in Washington. He also became the DC Collegiate Ambassador for The A Cappella Embassy, where he wrote reviews for their website and networked with groups to strengthen the community across the major schools in the city. After graduating in 2013, Andrew lived in Florida, where he was an intern at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, and then moved back to his hometown of Boston for two years, where he was a member of the CAL group Collective Measures. Andrew now lives in Lucerne, Switzerland, where he works in student travel with EF Education First.
