Daniel G. Westbrook

Daniel G. Westbrook's RARB Bio

Daniel is a graduate of James Madison University's Theatre and Dance program, whose original love for a cappella was fostered early his freshman year. First picking up music in high school, he taught himself piano and guitar and threw himself into wherever he could learn more. While at JMU, Daniel was heavily involved in the choral program, participating in the Men's Chorus and the renowned JMU Chorale. He started his a cappella career with JMU Exit 245, contributing as an arranger and vocal percussionist for the 2013 Best Male Collegiate CARA-winning album, Boyfriend Material. He has also arranged for other JMU groups, including the co-ed group The Overtones, and the all-female group The BluesTones. He recently served as a nominator and judge for the CARAs.

In the post collegiate world, Daniel has sang with the Washington, DC-based a cappella groups Keyvibe and Impitched. He is current an actor and musician, and teaches music and voice to students in the DC/Metro area.
