Malcolm Piper's RARB Bio
Malcolm grew up playing saxophone and singing in the happy-go-lucky backwoods of Vermont. Thanks to some devoted band and choral teachers, he was introduced to all manner of musics and eventually stumbled into the wonderful world of contemporary a cappella. He started following the scene in 2005 and spent four years singing with The Resolutions at Colgate University. As a senior he directed the group and orchestrated the recording and production of their concept album, No Wounded Soldiers. He graduated in 2011 and immediately joined JBS Recording to work on albums for collegiate groups around the Northeast.
Malcolm currently sings, beatboxes, and arranges with The Lantern Brothers and On Foot. His biggest advice for aspiring a cappellists... watch "The Sing Off" (hopefully it returns someday), and bring as much energy to the studio as you do to the stage. Hope to hear you soon!
